In February 2026, we moved into our new Hogspital — a purpose-built facility on the edge of the Carnanton Estate near Newquay Airport. With up to 1,400 admissions each year, we had long outgrown our back‑garden setup, and this move marks a major step forward for the charity.
The new Hogspital will consist of two buildings. We have now moved into the first and are actively fundraising to construct the second, which will allow us to expand our capacity even further. You can donate to the second building here. We are now fully operational from the Carnanton site, and the Cubert site is permanently closed. Our first hedgehog patient arrived just a couple of hours after the final hutch was put in place — a perfect reminder of why this move matters.
