Volunteering with Prickles & Paws
If you love hedgehogs and have a few hours spare each week, why not consider volunteering for us? Our amazing volunteers have a huge impact by helping us care for the hedgehogs, keeping them clean and healthy. In addition to handling hedgehogs you will also enjoy a discount on our Prickles and Paws clothing range. We are also happy to provide references for future job applications if required.

We are a charitable organisation with only 2 full time members of staff at present, we therefore rely upon the community for support. If you are interested in volunteering with us we have a range of roles available. All volunteers must be aged 18 or over due to insurance requirements, as such we are unable to offer school work experience placements.

Hedgehog care assistant (click for more info) Due to lots of interest in the role trial shifts aren’t able to be booked until January, your welcome to submit the below form and we can add you to the waitlist.
Community ambassador (click for more info)
Volunteer driver (click for more info)
We are specifically looking for drivers to assist in the following areas: (or who can help to relay hedgehogs from further afield by meeting at Bodmin/ Cornwall Services/Chiverton roundabout etc.)
