Each year we end up with a small number of females who are pregnant and sadly cannot be treated and released in time to give birth in the wild. Providing care for a pregnant hedgehog is very specialist, requiring ultrasound scans to confirm and monitor, veterinary consultation on treatment plan and safe medications, specialist diets and accommodation, and that is before post natal care! It takes a lot to support a mum to rear her hoglets.
By purchasing the Nonnatus virtual gift you will be supporting the specialist care of a pregnant hedgehog, making this a perfect virtual gift idea for animal lovers, mother’s day, birthdays or Christmas gifts.
Your virtual charity gift will be emailed to you after purchase and will include a certificate and information sheet, ready to send on to your desired recipient.
Please note: this is a virtual gift only with a certificate that can be printed at home. No physical gift is posted.
